Once again weekend snowfall is predicted for our area. No ice is expected but the probability for snow is very high this time. Very low temperatures are also expected. FLEC cannot accurately anticipate what problems, if any, this weather may cause but we are prepared. Crews remain on stand-by to respond to outages. Here are a few ways you can help:

~ Stay away from all downed power lines!

~ Report all outages at 1-877-353-2674. For security reasons and location accuracy, please do not report outages through social media comments and messaging.

~ Have a back-up heating source.

~ Have vehicles fueled up now.

~ Charge cell phones and other devices.

~ Gather items for an emergency kit (blankets, batteries, water, food, flashlights, medicines, and weather radio.)

~ Check on neighbors and pets.
