All members have automatically been opted-in to receive text messages regarding planned power outages, elections, and other major cooperative news. This service will not be used for personal billing information, but for other cooperative notifications. If members do not wish to continue receiving this text messaging service, they may simply reply “STOP” and they will be opted-out of future messages.

This week members should receive their first welcome message, which will read:

“Welcome! You are now auto enrolled in Fort Loudoun Electric Coop's text messaging service. Msg frequency may vary. Msg&DataRatesMayApply. Text STOP to opt out.”

The text messages will be sent from 423-216-8093. We hope our members will enjoy these convenient updates.
