Outage Update for 1-4-22

FLEC’s restoration efforts continue today. We have 45 extra workers assisting us, in additional to all of FLEC’s workforce. We were able to make several reconnections overnight. However, as the heavy snow continues to weigh down the trees, some connections have gone back out and we have experienced some new outages due to more falling trees. FLEC crews continues to cut the trees to clear our path, set new poles, build back the service lines, and restore the power as quickly and safely as possible. This has been a slow and frustrating process.
